Investment Strategy
The IFSC fund will adhere to a strategy closely aligned with that of the India Equity PMS and India Equity Fund (Domestic), with a primary emphasis on achieving long-term capital appreciation through strategic investments in the Indian equity market. A distinctive feature of this strategy involves the incorporation of selective derivative positions as a satellite approach. This tactical use of derivatives enables adept navigation through market fluctuations while concurrently exploring potential growth avenues.
Additionally, the fund holds the prerogative to subscribe to Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), leveraging its status as a qualified institutional buyer. This unique positioning not only underscores the fund’s strategic advantage but also underscores its commitment to seizing promising investment opportunities in the ever-evolving financial landscape.
Investments into listed Indian Equities for anyone through privately pooled investment fund [similar to a hedge fund, operated as IFSC based Alternative Investment Fund-AIF) requiring minimum investment of $150,000). Follows largely the same strategy as the India Equity Fund (Domestic) but with a few advantages (further explained on next page) because it is domiciled in India’s first IFSC at Gift City.
